The Holy Virgin Of Sign
Icon 34 X 30 cm (14 X 12 inches), was painted by Philip Davydov in 2008.
The borders, the halos and clothes of Christ on this icon are gilded with 23 3/4 carat gold leaf. Ornamentation on the hands and some folds of the Voly Mary's clothes are covered with 12 carat white gold.
